Our Providers
David Gee, M.D.
Dr. Gee graduated from Lewis & Clark College in Portland, OR with a BA in Biology. From there he continued his education at Oregon Health and Sciences University where he received his MD in 1991. In 1994, Dr. Gee completed his family practice residency right here in Boise at the Family Medicine Residency of Idaho. He has been Board Certified in Family Medicine since 1995.
Outside of medicine Dr. Gee has many interests and hobbies. When he is at home, he stays busy gardening, landscaping and hobby farming. He values spending quality time with his wife and their children. Dr. Gee also enjoys international travel and has made multiple trips to Asia and Africa, where he volunteers to lead medical teams. He stays active by spending time in the Sawtooth Mountains hiking, backpacking, and hunting.
Julie L. Scott, MPAC, PA-C
Julie L. Scott, a lifelong Idahoan, graduated from Idaho State University’s Physician Assistant program in 1999. She later earned a Masters in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Nebraska. Julie practiced in Pocatello for almost five years before relocating to Boise in 2004. She has spent her entire career working in Family Medicine and Women’s Health.
Julie loves caring for patients of all ages, from young children to their grandparents. She enjoys acute care, management of chronic health issues, women’s health, and pediatric and adolescent preventive care.
Julie and her husband have two fantastic children. She enjoys reading, knitting, skiing, and traveling with her family.
Jody Cacioppo FNP-C
Jody was born and raised in Southeast Idaho and has proudly served her community in healthcare for many years.
She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Boise State University in 2006 and completed her Family Nurse Practitioner degree in 2025. Jody brings a diverse clinical background with experience in cardiac care, emergency medicine, and labor and delivery, allowing her to care for patients across all stages of life.
Throughout her nursing career, she has also been passionate about education, previously teaching birthing and parenting classes at a local hospital, where she supported and empowered growing families. She has been part of the Main Family Medical team since 2017, where she is dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
Outside of work, Jody enjoys spending time outdoors camping, biking, and making memories with her husband and children.
Our Staff
April Bell, RMA
April graduated from the College of Western Idaho as a Registered Medical Assistant. She has extensive knowledge in phlebotomy; and was an Instructor in the Medical Assisting and Phlebotomy courses at CWI. She has 15 year’s previous experience as a Veterinary Technician. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her children.
Sarah Gable, LPN
Sarah earned her Licensed Practical Nursing degree through The College of Western Idaho, along with her AA in Health Science and Public Health. She has worked in healthcare for over 10 years and has experience in many areas of healthcare. Including office management, reception, and billing. In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors and spending time with her family.
Shelley Skogsberg, MA
Shelley graduated from the American Institute of Medical Technology. She has 30 years of professional experience in the healthcare field. Shelley has worked in various aspects of healthcare including office management, and medical assisting. In her spare time, she enjoys being with her husband, and traveling to see her children. She also enjoys raising sheep and goats.
Debbie Sechler
Medical Receptionist
Debbie attended Boise State University and graduated with a major in Elementary Education and a minor in Business. She has an extensive background in administration and worked in education for over 18 years. Previously, Debbie worked with Dr. Gee for 6 years and recently rejoined his team in 2017. In her spare time Debbie enjoys spending her time with family, gardening, biking, hiking, reading and knitting
